2/3/06: Arrive in Mexico City

2/4/06: Bus to Oaxaca

2/5/06-2/10/06: Attend la Otra Campana events

2/11/06: Bus to San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas

2/12/06-2/25/06: Volunteer Project with Habitat for Humanity in Chiapas

2/26/06: Bus to Xalapa (Vera Cruz State)

2/27/06-2/29/06: Explore Xalapa and nearby towns, Coatepec and Xico; go to Texolo waterfalls

2/29/06-3/3/06: Bus to city of Vera Cruz (Vera Cruz state); hang out in the area

3/3/06: Bus to Guanajuato



3/10/06: Fly to Bolivia
3/11/06-5/15/06: Stay at Mujeres Creando house in La Paz, Bolivia



5/15/06: Fly to Guatemala to do volunteer project with Proyecto Mosaico

Somewhere to begin

The sky is increadibly dreary right now, making it hard for me to imagine that in a few weeks I'll be somewhere in Mexico, most likely experiencing a climate that's very distinct from this one. But, I will be! For the month of February, I'll be traveling in Mexico, and probably doing some sort of volunteer work. Then...a small hop to Bolivia, where it will be more of this cold weather...ugh. The average temp in La Paz, where I'll be, is between 40 and 50 F year round. Think warm thoughts for me.

So, I will try to keep a diligent account of where I am and what I'm doing. Hopefully I'll be able to post my pictures too! We'll see....
